Located on the quiet island of La Gomera, Hotel Jardin Tecina offers beautiful natural surroundings and fantastic facilities. It’s perfect for both couples and families wanting to keep active with sports and activities, as well as those simply wanting to relax. Dive into the crystal clear waters from the shingle beach or head to the hotel’s golf course where you can enjoy beautiful views of the sea.

Family facilities include a Kids’ Club with activities and games offered throughout the day, and there’s also 11 bars and restaurants to choose from. Dine in a natural cave by candlelight or take a journey through the Canary Islands with spectacular local dishes created by expert chefs.

Hotel child prices apply to ages 2–12 years. The hotel has 434 rooms, 2 floors, and 2 lifts. Specially modified rooms for people with reduced mobility are available on request.

Main Restaurant

The buffet restaurant has a beautiful terrace with views over the Atlantic Ocean. Choose from international and local dishes. 

Open: 07:00 – 10:00 and 18:30 – 21:30 in winter, 07:00 – 10:00 and 19:00 – 22:00 in summer

Guests staying on half board, full board and bed and breakfast basis can dine at the main restaurant. Guests on full board receive water, soft drinks and local beer, as well as half a bottle of wine per serving per room. Reservations are required. The dress code for dinner is formal, and men must wear long trousers and closed shoes. 

Tasca Fandango

Choose from Canarian and Spanish dishes, as well as delicious Spanish and international wines as you take in the rustic taverna style interiors.

Reservations are required. Guests on half board or full board can choose dishes from the taster menu for a supplement of €9.90 per person, or receive a 25% discount from the à la carte menu.

Gara Restaurant

Take in the colonial inspired interiors or the beautiful views of the Atlantic from the terrace. Choose from a continental breakfast buffet in the morning and a new concept menu taking you through the Canary Islands with food and wine. 

Open: 08:00 – 10:30 and 18:30 – 21:30 in winter, 07:00 – 10:00 and 19:00 – 22:00 in summer

La Trattoria Restaurant

El Laurel Restaurant

This beachy restaurant offers a tranquil oasis where you can try excellent dishes including grilled meats and freshly caught seafood.

Cave for 2

The ultimate in romantic dining, this natural cave overlooks the ocean and mountains and will be lit with candles and lanterns as you enjoy delicious menus curated just for you.

Bar Kristina

This informal lounge and bar provides a relaxing and comfortable environment where guests can enjoy delicious cocktails, spirits, wines and champagnes.

Open: 18:00 – 00:00 in winter and 17:00 – 00:00 in summer

Barbacoa Restaurant

Dine by the main swimming pool and enjoy succulent barbequed meats and fresh seafood as you take in the views of the Atlantic ocean and the luscious hotel gardens. 

Open: 13:00 – 15:30

Guests on full board receive drinks with their meals, including water, soft drinks, local beer and half a bottle of wine per serving per room. Reservations are required.

Terraza Los Pajaros

The hotel’s main entertainment lounge offers a relaxing setting where you can enjoy evening shows, including live music and dancing. 

Bar Piscina - Main Pool Bar

Situated next to the Hotel Jardin Tecina’s main swimming pool, Bar Piscina offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can choose from light meals and refreshments.

There are three swimming pools at the Hotel Jardin Tecina. The main pool is surrounded by exotic gardens and palm trees, while the Duplex Suite pool is just for guests staying in the Duplex Suites. The Club Laurel swimming pool is next to the sea and surrounded by loungers and a pool bar. 

Beach

Hotel Jardin Tecina is located on a shingle beach where you can take the steps down to the crystal clear Atlantic Ocean.

Hotel Jardin Tecina is located on the south coast of the often overlooked island of La Gomera. This tranquil Spanish island is home to beautiful traditional villages and stunning natural landscapes, perfect for those wanting to explore or simply relax. The hotel is in a quiet area of Playa de Santiago, which is a relaxed fishing village with a beautiful harbour. 

The village is surrounded by mountains and forests, with some fantastic restaurants to choose from. Taste Spanish tapas dishes made using fresh local ingredients and washed down with some delicious wines. When it comes to beaches there are two stretches of black sand within easy reach, while those wanting to explore the interiors will find little villages and rugged mountains.
