Glitz and glamour meets natural grandeur
Capri holidays blend the beauty of the great outdoors with a splash of luxury. Located on the southern side of the Gulf of Naples, the island of Capri has been a favoured holiday spot for the rich and famous since the Roman era, offering a luxurious getaway in an idyllic setting. The island continues to attract royalty and celebrities, with a plethora of designer fashion brands lining its opulent streets.
Inhabited since the Palaeolithic era, and once home to Caesar Augustus and his successor Tiberius, you can soak up the rich history, stroll through the winding streets of Capri Town, sip on a local limoncello or find your perfect pair of leather sandals, handmade here for decades. Head inland to explore the sleepy town of Anacapri, high up in the cool hills surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, for a taste of authentic island life. If you're looking for adventure, visit the stunning Blue Grotto sea cave or travel to the top of Mount Solaro for views across the island and beyond.

We recommend visiting the island of Capri between the months of April and October for the best weather. The summer months can get very warm, with temperatures reaching upwards of 30 degrees and school holidays across Europe bring the crowds. Spring and autumn offer pleasant, warm weather ideal for hiking and sightseeing while still being able to enjoy dining al fresco or taking a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
