The Westin Resort Costa Navarino is in an idyllic beach location and is a huge resort surrounded by abundant greenery and the vast blue sea. There is a large beach which extends along the blue waters to the mountains and provides the perfect opportunity to relax. For the adventurous, activities include rock climbing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, windsurfing, bowling, and amazing waterslides, with a stunning pool. You can also relax as you sit around the large pool and witness the stunning colours and in built-in waterfalls.

Explore the UNESCO World Heritage List sites nearby, including the famous Olympia, Mystras and the Temple of Apollo Epicurius. The resort is incredibly spacious and the dining experience is above exceptional. Watching a sunset across the mountain and waters, while dining in the candlelit comfort of the hotel’s restaurants or terraces, is an unforgettable experience.

Anazoe Spa and Thalassotherapy

The Westin Resort’s spa offers an incredible menu to leave your body feeling fully refreshed and relaxed. There are also oleo therapy treatments based on ancient practices, as well as floating pools, hydrotherapy, ice grotto rooms, light therapies, herbal saunas and mist showers.

Age: The recommended are for guest is 17 years and older though guest under 17 years may be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to receive treatments.

Westinworkout Gym

Your fitness needs are taken care of even when you travel. The onsite gym has a 21m indoor heated pool, two saunas and steam rooms, a whirlpool, and fitness classes including traditional dancing lessons. Westin has also partnered with New Balance to provide personal training sessions during your stay.

The Dunes Course: The impressive seaside Dunes Course is the first signature golf course in Greece, set in a diverse natural landscape with spectacular sea and river views. Measuring 6,581 yards, this award-winning 18-hole course has been designed to provide an exciting challenge to all golfers in an enchanting environment of lush olive groves, undulating greens and wide fairways.

The Bay Course: Situated just a short walk from Navarino Dunes, this course offers an alternative golfing experience in a different landscape. This 18-hole seaside course meanders through three natural landscapes – Seaside, Canyon and Grove – providing striking contrasts and views of the sea and mountains for a truly memorable golfing experience.

Navarino Hills: Two new 18-hole golf courses designed by two-time Masters champion and Ryder Cup legend José Marίa Olazábal, are set above the coastline and offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the Bay of Navarino and the Ionian Sea. They both play to par 72, the first is the International Olympic Academy Golf Course measuring 6,366m in length, while the Hills Course measures 6,280m.

Mouratoglou Tennis Centre Costa Navarino

The first European location for a Mouratoglou Tennis Centre offers the opportunity to play on brand new, state-of-the-art courts with breath-taking views of the Ionian Sea, while receiving personalised coaching from the best in the world. Designed to blend seamlessly into the classic Messinian landscape of olive trees and local vegetation at Navarino Dunes, the centre offers 16 tennis courts of all types.

Water Sports

Windsurfing, kitesurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling and more are available at the Westin Resort. There is also a PADI certified scuba diving centre, and guests can book half, one or two day cruises on a sailing yacht or motorboat.

About the location

The Westin Resort can be found on the rugged south west coast of mainland Greece, in the Peloponnese. It’s located in the town of Costa Navarino, amidst the stunning, wild and rugged landscapes the area is so well known for. Here you’ll find emerald hills, rugged beaches, little coves and rolling valleys, all just waiting to be explored.

History lovers can explore the Classic Greek temples and Byzantine churches of the town, while golf lovers will find two excellent courses to choose from. When it comes to dining, the pretty landscapes give you some exquisite produce, including famous Greek olives, wines, honey and figs.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it is absolutely beautiful. The staff are attentive and friendly, the resort is so tranquil whilst still having a variety of different things to do. It completely exceeded our expectations. We travelled with our 2 children ages 1 and 4. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The Reception staff gave our children a welcome gift whilst we checked-in and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a family suite. Our room was perfect. It was clean, well furnished and spacious. It overlooked the ocean and every evening we were able to watch the beautiful sunset. The pools in this resort are fabulous. Several of them were heated which meant we were all able to comfortably spend time in the water (at the end of October/November) without getting cold. Our boys absolutely loved the water park, however they also really enjoyed playing in the other pools too. These were well designed with several shallow parts that our toddler was able to explore and play in. They were also large, peaceful and set among luscious greenery with stunning views. They manage to cater for adults and children simultaneously! The beach within the resort was lovely, however we also really enjoyed exploring the beaches around the area . Voidokilia beach was a 15 minute drive away and one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The sea water was crystal clear and the water not too cold. Our boys also loved visiting the castle in Methoni (about 30mins away) and the beach next to it too. The restaurants in the resort are nice. Service is excellent! We tried Da Luigi, Flame, Kooc Secrets and Armyra. Our favourite was probably Da Luigi or Kooc Secrets, but enjoyed all of them. Prices are what you would expect. We also ate in the Souvlaki restaurant for lunch which we loved and was very reasonably priced!! We had lunch one day at the beach restaurant. This is a little more on the pricey side, Overall we were incredibly impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel/resort. It really made our family holiday feel special and has given us memories we will cherish forever.

A first for me…..writing a review, whilst still here (last day to be fair) a week long stay at the very end of October, and what an absolute find. We have experienced Westin’s hospitality in Dubai, which was amazing, and this site has certainly matched it, and with the room we’ve got here, has bettered it (2826 sea view suite with pool) To be fair the hotel is quiet as it nears end of season, which is lovely as it allows a more relaxed and slower pace to our holiday, including being spoilt for choice with sunbeds, tables at breakfast and all things busy during high season. We are bed and breakfast, with breakfast being the usual selection, good quality and plentiful and we visited some of the restaurants on site for evening meals with the Lebanese being the stand out. The Navarino is, and make no mistake, a huge resort and caters for everything one could need, but we did venture out to local restaurants locally by taxi to Giolova and Pylos, which are both extremely pretty and offer some very good restaurants with panoramic views over the bay. As briefly touched on earlier though, the room we had was exceptional, and indeed, I’m writing my review from the extremely comfortable bed, so much so that we have visited Westins online store to purchase a mattress! The room layout is well thought out, with lovely toiletries, quality tea and coffee, bottled water, robes, slippers, linen and towels and of course our own infinity pool. All the staff we have met, have been helpful and efficient and nothing is touch much trouble. We are travelling with our ten year old daughter, who has had a whale of a time, enjoying the choice of pools, waterslides, VR, escape rooms, bowling alley, bike hire to name but a few, with the highlight, in actual fact, being a visit to the onsite dog rescue sanctuary (arranged by appointment) on site….very heartwarming. We will most certainly be back in the not too distant future. A big thank you to everyone involved in making our stay so wonderful.
