Baby-friendly Holidays

All of our baby-friendly hotels will have highchairs in their restaurants, and will offer microwaves for heating milk. Most will be happy to provide fresh purees for you as well (or will be happy for you to bring your own baby food).

Some will also be able to provide in-room bottle sterilising and warming facilities – helpful for late night or early morning bottles. Have a chat with your Trusted Adviser for more information about what’s available at each hotel. 

UK airports cater fairly well for those travelling with babies – we’ve put information for a few key airports below. For details of what’s available at smaller regional airports, or the airport in your chosen destination, have a chat with your Trusted Adviser. 

There are lots of options for tots, with crèches catering for babies as young as four months. Since they’re so little, flexibility is key – you’ll likely want to find somewhere you can drop them off for an hour or two, while you take a break. Some are located beside pools or restaurants, so you can have a rest without being too far away. Some hotels also offer babysitting services – your Trusted Adviser will be able to let you know all the details. Where crèches need to be pre-booked, we can do this for you ahead of your holiday, so everything's sorted in plenty of time.

There’s no reason not to! Taking a baby on a long flight can actually be easier than taking a toddler who’ll need more entertainment. Night flights are great if your little one is likely to sleep through; if you’re worried that they’ll struggle to sleep, you might prefer a flight that leaves earlier in the day.

Stock your hand luggage with plenty of nappies, wipes and spare clothes (for baby and for you!), and make sure you’ve got a couple of favourite toys. Baby milk and purees for the flight can be taken in your hand luggage, even if they’re over the 100ml limit.
