How long have you been a Personal Travel Planner and what do you specialise in?

I’ve been a personal travel planner since 2019. From finding a family the perfect getaway to suit all ages, to a romantic honeymoon in the Indian Ocean for two, or even island hopping around beautiful Greece, I love all the areas Sovereign offers for different reasons.

Cocos Hotel in Antigua! A small, couples only hotel with a really traditional wooden design. It’s built up into a hill with a beautiful white sandy beach on either side, amazing views and fantastic service! I would recommend going up to Shirley Heights Lookout for sunset on a Sunday to experience the traditional Caribbean music and cuisine with the locals!

1. What was your most memorable holiday meal?

Handline fishing for our own lunch on a traditional boat in the Maldives!

2. What is the best thing about being abroad?

The sun and the sea! I love exploring new places and ticking off different destinations, learning about other cultures and trying the local food!

3. Where would you go next and why?

I recently visited Maldives, it was a huge tick off my bucket list, and one of the most beautiful places I’ve been! Next, I would love to stay a little closer to home and visit Rovinj in Croatia. It’s a part of Croatia I haven’t been to yet and, from what I have heard, it is supposed to be absolutely stunning!

Mauritius

One of my favourite places is Mauritius! I’ve been a few times as the people are so friendly and welcoming and there is so much culture there. Plus it’s absolutely beautiful with plenty to see and do! I also love Asia, Bali in particular, as it’s another destination with so much to offer. It’s great value for money with incredible luxury service and also offers the best sunsets I’ve seen!

I love many of our Greek properties, including the Domes Noruz in Chania, a lifestyle, adult only hotel on the beach. It has a really trendy feel to it. Plus each room has its own jacuzzi or pool! I also love the Santo Pure in Santorini, another gorgeous adult orientated hotel. This property is just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful town of Oia, best known for its incredible sunsets, so make sure to take lots of photos!
